Sisu prabodaya (සිසු ප්‍රබෝධය) means ‘Enlightened Students’. The name reflects the expected outcome of the students as a result of fulfilling their educational and developmental needs.

Management of Beneficiaries:

Following steps will serve as guidelines in helping students.

1. The selection of beneficiaries will be managed by the Executive Committee and the Resource Persons.
2. Upon nominations Project manager and Finance managers will arrange Fixed Deposits (FD: The amount for each FD must be considered depending on the age of the student. This is still under consideration) under the name of each beneficiary with the approval of the executive Committee.
3. Monthly (Rs2500) will be deposited in the bank account of each beneficiary depending on their age and educational requirements.
4. Beneficiaries/guardians in the case of those bellow 10 years of age are responsible of submitting a report at the end of 5 month period.
5. At the age of 21 for the purpose of higher education or self-entrepreneurship, the FD can be withdrawn by the beneficiary after prior discussions and the approval of the Executive Committee.
6. Considering the accuracy of the report presented by the beneficiary for the withdrawal of his/her FD the executive committee will approve the request in a board meeting.
7. FD withdrawals will be communicated to the donors by the Finance Coordinators.
8. Biennial initially/annual reports will be sent to the donor list highlighting the progress of the beneficiaries.
